Looks good from what I can see. Must be hard to work with that material.

He's beautiful!

Will we see more jade in the future, then? I do hope so.

cool, what's the scale on that?
:iconakkid63:
Thank you :) and yes I hope to have more to show in the future. :D

Thanks :) it is about 5" long, 1 1/2" thick and about 3" wide
:iconakkid63:
Thanks :) it’s definitely different to work with but I would say more time consuming than hard to work with.

Very nice piece. Definately as nice as the pieces that I saw in the jade factory. They had some art pieces like this but they were very pricey. They seemed to focus more on jewelry because I'm sure it sells better and the color and quality can vary significantly. I look forward to seeing your other work.

Thank you :) I am in the process of setting up a work area for jade as it requires water and different tools than what I have, but hopefully it won’t take me to long to get going.

Do you have a good source of jade in Alaska or do you need to go through the internet. I imagine it is expensive to get a good piece.
